Child Sponsorship

To visit Haiti is to be confronted with the harsh reality of thousands of children left orphaned, abandoned and neglected by circumstances over which they have no control. The child sponsorship program of His Heart Ministries was created as a branch of New Hope Missions International, to respond to this pressing need with the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.

A primary goal for the child sponsorship program is to place each child in a healthy family environment where they will be nurtured and cared for. In circumstances where one or both of the natural parents are still living, sponsorship can help to preserve the family unit and provide for the needs of other children in the home. In other situations, a responsible relative or guardian provides for the child with the help of sponsorship funds.

100% of all donations go directly to the needs of the sponsored child and their host family.

Child sponsorship participants are asked to make a one year commitment of $30.00 per month to sponsor a needy child. $25.00 of this amount goes directly to the host family to provide food, clothing and shelter for the sponsored child, while contributing to the overall stability of the home environment. The remaining $5.00 is used for educational expenses of the child at a Mission school operated by the local church. Sponsorships are renewable and a tax deductible receipt will be given for all donations.
